Patterns of Sincerity

Opening Prayer and hymn:   Join together in prayer asking God to open our eyes and mind to the pattern He has
set before us found through His Son Jesus Christ.

Memory Verse:    For I have given you an example, that ye
should do as I have done to you. -John  13:15

WHERE HE LEADS I’LL FOLLOW

Sweet are the promises, kind is the word,
Dearer far than any message man ever heard;
Pure was the mind of Christ, sinless I see;
He the great example is, and pattern for me.

Refrain

Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow all the way.
Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow Jesus ev’ry day.

Sweet is the tender love Jesus hath shown,
Sweeter far than any love that mortals have known;
Kind to the erring one, faithful is He;
He the great example is, and pattern for me.

Refrain

List to His loving words, “Come unto Me”;
Weary, heavy laden, there is sweet rest for thee;
Trust in His promises, faithful and sure;
Lean upon the Savior, and thy soul is secure.

Refrain

Discussion  Topic:
Last week we learned a little bit about the rainbow in the sky that God made.
 Do you see a pattern of different colors in it ?
 Have you noticed that the  rainbow is formed with a bend( or an arch)  in it  ?
 The rainbow has a certain shape and color pattern.
Were you able to draw your own rainbow because of following the
 one in the picture that you seen ?
Can you name other shapes and patterns ?

Lesson Activity : Take a look around right now to see how many
patterns you can find.  Where did you find them
 and how many did you find ?

Suggested Bible Reading :

 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
 and it shall be done unto you.
  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit;
so shall ye be my disciples.
 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you:
continue ye in my love.

 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love;
even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you,
and that your joy might be full.
 This is my commandment, That ye love one another,
as I have loved you.
John 15 :7-12

Follow up questions on the today's lesson and Bible reading

    are you able to do it ?

3. What are some of the things Jesus has taught us that are like a pattern to us
and that we should  follow ?

4.  Are we able to make Jesus the pattern in our life ?

5. Can we learn to follow Him in doing the things He has commanded us to ?

6. Can we do these things with the love of God in our heart ?

7. Should we ever do them without love ?

Patterns of Sincerity

Colors are weaved
Into a rainbow
For all of God's
Children to know …
 A pattern of Promise
Sets  hearts
Aglow.

A shape pattern of a dove
Descended from above
Helping us to learn of
 Immeasurable love.

Patterns of snowflakes
A six-sided design
Symmetrical beauty
That blankets the pine.

We see with our eyes
Stars in the skies
 Luminous patterns
Stellar surprise.

Prayer circles-
Form patterns of trust
As talking with God
Each day is
A must.

Patterns around us
Have a voice of their own
Telling us softly …
We are never alone.
