Make It Known
Opening Prayer: Give a prayer of thanks to our Heavenly Father who blesses us with treasures of wisdom through His Book - The Bible. May we always treasure His Word in our heart and may He bless us with opportunities to share His Word and His love with others He places in our lives. Let us ask the Lord to help us make His blessings known to others.
Lesson Verse Focus : 1 Corinthians 8 :3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
Have the children in two groups and the first group should
say aloud : "But if any man love God " -
And the second group finish by saying: "the same is known of him."
Teacher: After they finish saying their parts you finish by saying aloud - 1 Corinthians 8 :3 .
Hymntime :
GO TELL IT ON A MOUNTAIN
REFRAIN
Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere Go, tell it on the mountain, That Jesus Christ is born. While shepherds kept their watching
O’er silent flocks by night Behold throughout the heavens There shone a holy light. Refrain
The shepherds feared and trembled,
When lo! above the earth, Rang out the angel chorus That hailed the Savior’s birth. Refrain
Down in a lowly manger
The humble Christ was born And God sent us salvation That blessèd Christmas morn. Refrain
Bible Reading :
Colossians 2
2That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Follow The Leader
Life holds a span of time for hearts - To hear a voice so mild From an obedient child Chosen as the one Who would Lead us. In the temple everyday They had listened to all he'd say… But would they learn to keep the way When this same gentle voice would Speak the timeless words, “Follow Me”. The Lamb of God took delight In healing the sick and giving sight To those in need Of His sweet embrace, Perpetual love, And abundant grace. His footprints from the past Are set on earth to last For those who still Want to follow this day And dwell within His joyful stay. ‘Twas known at the time of his birth That Christ would rule round this earth. With tenderness, He taught us to pray Guiding God's precious children Into His bountiful, Luminous garden To sing, laugh and Forever play. Julie Pisacane © May 10, 2020 _________________
