  1. Discuss that we are created for God’s good pleasure and that we were created to give Him praise and bring glory and honor to Him through our lives in intimate relationship with Him.  (Hebrews 13:15; Psalm 145:3; Psalm 145:17; Psalm 147:1)

  1. In the book of Chronicles we learn that Praise is so important that it was the responsibility of the Levites and Priests to offer Praise up to God.  We who have accepted Salvation through Christ are called into a royal priesthood, we are to offer up spiritual sacrifices of praise unto God.  It is what we have been set apart to do!  To point to Christ through our lives of praise and worship to our God!

      (1 Chronicles 23:30; 2 Chronicles 8:14; 1 Peter 2:9; 2 Peter 2:5)

  1. It is our duty to offer up Spiritual Sacrifices of Praise to God in all that we do.  (Colossians 3:17; Colossians 3:23)

  1. We must offer our sacrifices of Praise in sincerity, submission, and in reverence to God!  He is worthy of all praise!  It blesses God’s heart when we do this! (Revelation 4:8-11)

  1. Give example of how one can offer a sacrifice of praise in all work and activities of every day life.  Review Romans.  (Romans 12:1-2)

  1. Peace comes when we do this unto God.  We are the temple of the Holy Spirit.  We should live our lives with every breath that God gives us in praise to Him! (Isaiah 26:3; Philippians 4:7; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

  1. When we truly love God and seek Him first, we will have no trouble giving our very lives as a sacrifice of Praise to Him who is worthy!  (John 14:15; Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:35-37; Matthew 6:33)

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 “Pray without ceasing.  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Psalm 54:6 “I will freely sacrifice unto thee:  I will praise Thy Name, O LORD; for it is good.”

Psalm 145:2 “Every day I will bless thee; and I will Praise Thy Name for ever and ever.”
