There Is Joy

Opening Prayer: Join together in prayer and thank the Lord for another opportunity where we can gather together and worship Him for the joy and happiness we have through the victory of Jesus Christ.

Opening Hymn:

Fairest Lord Jesus

Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul’s glory, joy and crown.

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,
Robed in the blooming garb of spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,
Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Fair is the sunshine,
Fairer still the moonlight,
And all the twinkling starry host;
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels Heav’n can boast.

All fairest beauty, heavenly and earthly,
Wondrously, Jesus, is found in Thee;
None can be nearer, fairer or dearer,
Than Thou, my Savior, art to me.

Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
Now and forever more be Thine.

Trust In The Lord

According to His divine compassion
Christ came here to show us The Way
Among us He walked in humble fashion
Teaching us to trust and obey.

According to His own purpose and grace
And not by the work of our hands…
The Gospel shall travel from place to place
As foretold in God's perfect plans.

According to His almighty power
Strong we remain throughout each trial
Washed in the Word by Heaven's rain shower
And filled with His Spirit all the while.

According to His mercy, He saved us
Not by anything we have done
By the atoning work of Lord Jesus-
Come take the hand of God's Son.

Psalm 34:8
O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
