Mary , Mother of Jesus-  Let God Be Magnified

Opening Prayer: Join together in prayer and praise of our merciful Lord who
allows us to gather and learn priceless lessons from His word ,from Jesus Christ,
and from the perfect  witness of true faith found among His people -as true faith
is His precious gift and treasure to all of His children.

Focus Bible VerseLuke 1: 46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

Hymntime:

FROM HEAVEN ABOVE TO EARTH I COME

From Heaven above to earth I come,
To bear good news to every home;
Glad tidings of great joy I bring,
Whereof I now will say and sing.

To you, this night, is born a Child
Of Mary, chosen mother mild;
This little Child, of lowly birth,
Shall be the joy of all your earth.

’Tis Christ our God, who far on high
Had heard your sad and bitter cry;
Himself will your Salvation be,
Himself from sin will make you free.

He brings those blessings, long ago
Prepared by God for all below;
Henceforth His kingdom open stands
To you, as to the angel bands.

Today's Bible Reading:

Luke 1:39-47
39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste,
 into a city of Juda;
40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
 41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
 44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Kneeling Down

Early in my quiet room
In dawn's new light I pray
Kneeling by my bedside
Giving thanks to the Lord this day.

Hope's eternal blossom
Blooms wide inside my heart
Changing my entire life
Blessed with a brand-new start.

Spirit of Love removes all fear
Guiding my soul within
Tells me never to worry--
For Jesus washed me clean of all sin.

I pray at night in the silence
Sensing my Lord is near
He helps me to trust in Him
Making everything bright and clear

The Lord is ever with me
No matter where I go
My prayers are spoken to Him
And He loves me this I know.

May I always be found kneeling
Humbled under His eyes
Listening to the Word of God
And rejoicing under His skies.
