Chapter 5 - Job
Trials of Job
(By Jenny wren)
With God’s permission Satan testing Job’s life so bold
In the loss of his vast fortune and big Family Job is told
Job has had this premonition, one of an impending doom
Job feels dreaded disaster shall surely be on Him soon,
As Satan’s curse began to start, brings Job's life to soil
Completely covering over Job, in big red worrisome boil
----------------
From the soles of His feet plumb to the top of Job's crown
Boils cover and consuming Job, is how he is now found
Jobs lips against God are now staying surprisingly still
While scraping at his boils, Job sudden pain began to feel
“Job, why not curse God and die!,” cried his disgusted wife
Job's only reply to her “God gives 'good', also gives strife.”
Job then curses that dreaded day, when He was ever born
we find Job now covered in ashes, with his friends to mourn
seems accusing friends now ask, “Job, what have you done?
Job, some sin is causing all of this.” said each and everyone
Job trying to reassure them all, that; ‘he has not, done any
(If your friends are as Job's friend, you do not need many)
---------------
friends are now all a-question; they begin in reminiscing Job
Reminding Job of sins of man and his seeds, for God to sow
His Friends are still accusing Job, of some hidden secret sin
Causing this whole catastrophe upon Job's life now to begin
Job now suddenly becomes defensive in His disgusted sighs
He's Talking, and is now remembering, rehearsing his replies
----------------
In remembering of the many times, before this terrible shekel
When secrets of Job's God was hovering over his tabernacle
When his life was very good, Job is blessed of God so simple
Knowing that God now revels in the sanctuary of Job's temple
One true friend named Elihu who with Job had sometimes trod
“Job,be still” God then said "just look, see the wonder of God”
-----------------
A sudden whirlwind came twirling, which carries God’s reply
Job now relents He is embarrassed, there with a heaving high
Into Job's ear instruction Came, God’s own living word, above
God's booming voice so reprimanding, yet He speaks in love
“Gird your loins in truth, Job, then tell me now, answer me”
Simply tell me, Can you child can you make the land and sea
----------------
Can you establish wisdom inside of, man’s fragile inner-part?
or give complete understanding, found inside of man’s heart
Can you fully control the creature, far above or down below
Can you give to them instruction, in which way they are to go
Tell me child can you create Wisdom, in a seed, you now sow,
For me day by day as through the wilderness life,--- you go
-----------------
Consider to catch ole' Behemoth, in his great fearsome might
You will never ever forget that, It's a terrible fearsome fight
Job now prays for his friends, as they now offer their sacrifice
After accusing Job of lying using, only man's wisdom disguise
Job is now blessed because God, soon doubled Job's supplies
Eventually God replaced it all, then at a vast old age, Job dies.

MEDITATION
In my stupidity, I
judging my precious brothers and sisters. I indeed
was more gullible than Peter. I could have lost every
friend I ever had by judging him or her.
The Holy Spirit, will teach them, as He is still teaching
me, day by day. I have found that "If you just open
up to the teaching, the Holy Spirit is there to lead
and guide you on
this wilderness path we are all on.
We are learning each and every day, as we
stand on mountaintops of life in our joy, and we
look out ahead
of us, on the path toward Heaven. Just
remember
that
there is a deep valley down between each of
those mountaintops and it is through these
valleys
where our learning takes place sometimes in
the
shadows of death
all around us. But as we come out, see and
realize
that
we did just that; we come out!
The Lord was with you, leading you through
it all
of the time, and you have learned once again
from
each and
every experience. Each and every trial of life,
you
have
been through bears a lesson to be taught. You must
realize the lesson and accept it from each trial. If
you
do not, you are bound to repeat the journey in
another valley. When trials come, ask God right
then, to show
you what is to be learned here in this valley.
Trust Him
and learn it well.
Just remember that God promised there would
NEVER
be more than you can bear, because with every
trial
there is God's way out.
