I'm supposed to be working
There are plenty of things I need to do
But I can't keep my mind
Off of thoughts of you...
The weather has kept you home
Spoiling me with having you close
Now, I'm missing you...
Sigh! Married four years
And you still take my breath away!
You still cause my body to ache
For most, that's unheard of
They told us the honeymoon would fade
Yet for us, our love grows stronger...
For us, our passion still ignites
Is this the difference?
From serving God's purpose, and not mine?
Each day I cherish
Having you to hold
It doesn't take much to spoil me
Oh, how I wish you were home!
But its hours yet, till your work is through
And the few hours till the kids are asleep
For now, will have to do
I love you, Darling
And I miss you so...
Hurry home, my beloved
