Intro:
Our Sunday school topic for today focuses on trusting God even when one has experienced difficulty in life.  At times life on earth can be cruel. You may have at least once in your life thought " no-one knows or understands, what I am going through." This is wrong.

outline:
  1. Ask the students - Did you ever have something terrible happen to you?
  2. Ask the students - When you prayed about it, did you have a feeling you would blame God for what happened?
  3. Describe a person who thinks God has abandoned them, or who think they don't need God.
  4. Describe what it mean for God tom love you, even if you have had a bad experience in your life?
  5. What does the Bible say?
  6. Describe the comfort that comes form trusting God to know why this has happened.
  7. Challenge students to place their complete, unreserved trust in God, and to deliberately reject ideas that come from the devil.
  8. Prayer

activity:



Bring a container of water. Offer it to a student and then take it away just before he or she starts 
to drink it. Examine how you may be teaching a lesson by removing the nourishment. Then give everyone
a container of water.
