Signs of the End of Days
People have been saying for over two thousand years, so why should anyone believe it when we tell them that we are living in the end of days? Do you believe that we are living in the end of days? In this lesson we will study in God’s word the signs that tell us we are in fact living in the end of days and Jesus is soon to take His bride, (the church) home to be with Him forever. All these signs have never before happened all at one time in history as they do today. We are living in the end of days; I believe we will very well be here when the Rapture of the church occurs. Praise the LORD! May God bless you all and may you be encouraged as we study these signs.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Or men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
That prophecy is right on isn’t it. Just as all the prophecy foretold in God’s word. We read about the end times from Isaiah, Daniel, Jesus, The Apostles, John, and so many more in God’s word. One may be thinking, well the Apostles thought that Jesus would come back in their time, but it’s been 2000 years. Why should we believe it now? Maybe it will go on another 2000 years. Beloved, as I write this, with all of my heart I do not believe that we will be here even 20 more years. In fact, if we are here 5 more years it will shock me. I will be surprised if we are here another year or two in fact. I’ll show you the reasons why. In the last days, or End of Days, the Bible tells us that there will be:
Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Never from the time of the Garden of Eden to the 20th Century has there been such a knowledge explosion. The past 20 years has been amazing for the rise of technology. The technology in medicine, transportation, and communication, due to computers has grown drastically in the past twenty or thirty years. We are living in the age of the knowledge explosion and technology is ever growing at a rapid pace.
Isaiah 66:8 “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”
Ezekiel 37, 38, 39 tells of Israel becoming an exceeding great army.
Jesus said these words in Matthew 24,
Matthew 24: 32-34 “32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
The fig tree being Israel, the prophecy was exact. On May 15, 1948 the state of Israel was established! A nation was born in a day just as Isaiah foretold thousands of years before!
Zachariah 14:12 “And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.”
That horrible description is exactly what happens in a nuclear blast. You can do your research, it is the exact picture. When this prophesy was written, there was no knowledge of an atom bomb they writer wrote what he saw and was told. We are living in the age of Nuclear warfare. The prophesy has been fulfilled.
Matthew 24:4-5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”
Matthew 24:24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
We are living in an age of so much political correctness that no one takes responsibility for their actions anymore. There is so much blasphemy that happens in our world, on our television screens and people who laugh at we who try to warn them that Christ is soon to appear.
2 Peter 3:2-4 “That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
Jesus said in Matthew 24
Matthew 24:36-39 “ 36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Prophesy fulfilled! This is happening today!
5. Famines; Pestilence; Earthquakes!
World hunger is at an all time high in our days now. A Pestilence is a plague, disease or virus to which there is no cure. Think about the Bird Flu that came, then Swine Flu, and so many other diseases that we read about in the world today. Earthquakes have always been around but have doubled from the 19th to the 20th century. In the past 2 or 3 years we have heard of massive earthquake after massive earthquake! Prophesy Fulfilled!
6. International Television/Internet – This technology had to come about in order for the prophesy to be fulfilled.
In the book of Revelation, we read that God will send two witnesses to the earth who will have power to bring plagues upon all the earth. No one will be able to harm them for 1,260 days and they will prophesy. Then they will be killed and their dead bodies will lie in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 and ½ days and every nation and tribe will see their bodies and rejoice that they are dead and will refuse to bury them. After 3 and ½ days, God will raise them up and everyone will see.
Revelation 11:8-11 “8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
Now how could every tribe and nation see these two witnesses if not for international Television and Internet! This was not possible 50 years ago…but it is certainly possible now through media.
Beloved ones of the Bride of Christ, look up! The next thing to happen in prophesy is the coming of our King to take us out of here!
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 “ 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Hebrews 10:25 “25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
I’ve been listening to an old song that excites my heart. Soon and very soon, we are going to see The King, Soon and very soon, we are going to see The King! What a day that will be. Those who have been washed in the blood of the lamb do not have to worry about the impending doom that is to come upon the earth. We will be saved by the blood of Christ! Let us get ready, let us watch and pray. Let us tell others about Jesus so that we can take as many people to heaven with us as we can. Time as we know it will not last much longer, be wise and busy for the King. Our redemption draws nigh! I love you all. :O))
Dear Righteous, Heavenly Father,
Bowing before You I thank You for loving me and encouraging me. Thank You for providing for me and for sending Your Beloved Son to die for my filthy sins. Thank You for making a way that I can come be with You forever. Thank You for cleansing me and making me pure. Lord today I pray for those who do not yet believe. I pray that Your Holy Spirit visit them and convict their hearts so much that they must turn to You before it is ever lasting to late. Lord I really know in my heart that You are coming back very soon, I praise You for it and I love you. Please touch the hearts of those who are lost and help we who are saved to tell them about You with power and love so that they must heed and believe! In the mighty, lovely name of Jesus I pray. Amen.! You alone are Worthy of all praise! We love You FATHER!
