Our Sunday school topic for today focuses on the importance of being
obedient in what God asks us to do. He is there to provide us the strength
to do the work He commands of us.
With God’s help we can accomplish the tasks and works that are pleasing to
Him .
Ask the students - Is there
something you have been called to do for God but afraid to do it?
What does the Bible say
about God helping us?
Ask the students - With
God’s help can we do what He has commanded us to do ?
Discuss some of things we
are to do for God according to what we have learned through His Word.
Do we please
God when we are active in work for Him ? We will read right now from--
Hebrews 13 : 20 Now
the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that
great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do
his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through
Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
