Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is
written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of
		God.

From the very beginning of time God has spoken and Satan has tried his
best to do away with what God said or to make it of no effect. If man is
to live by every word of God then Satan is determined to confound,
corrupt or destroy that Word. When he came to Eve in the form of the
serpent the first thing he uttered was "Yea hath God said". What
followed is a perfect example of the results of the corrupted word. In
Gen. 3:3 Eve adds to the Word God spoke by saying that
she could not touch the fruit which of course God never said. In the
same verse she omits the word "surely"(Deut. 4;2) which
stands in stark contrast to what God did say. God had said "for in the
day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." This may seem very
trivial to some but as we shall see later on in this study that it is
precisely changing or omitting little noticed words or verses throughout
the text that renders the entire work corrupt and undependable. This is
Satan's goal. He would have all the Scriptures that God has given us
either destroyed or corrupted so as to leave questions and doubts in our
mind as to the authenticity of what we read.

When God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses He wrote them with His own
finger. "And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing
with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone,
written with the finger of God." ( Exodus 31:18)
Probably before the end of the day these two tablets were in bits pieces
and powder by the hands of the one to whom he had entrusted the written
		word.

Exodus 32:15-19 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount,
and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were
written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they
written. "And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the
writing of God, graven upon the tables. 17 And when Joshua heard the
noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a
noise of war in the camp. 18 And he said, It is not the voice of them
that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for
being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. 19 And it
came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the
calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the
tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

Before the writing could be proclaimed to the people Satan had reared
his ugly head through the actions of the people and the result was the
destruction of the words that God had written to man. The "originals"
were destroyed and what follows is the first copy of the originals we
have recorded in history. Notice what God did when His written word was
		destroyed.

Exodus 34:1-4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables
of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the
words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest. 2 And be
ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and
present thyself there to me in the top of the mount. 3 And no man shall
		come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount;
neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount. 4 And he hewed
two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the
morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him,
and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

Note closely the underlined part where God said He would write the
words on the 2nd tablets as He had written the first and compare it to
		the next passage.

Exodus 34:27-29 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these
words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with
thee and with Israel. 28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and
forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote
upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. 29 And
it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two
tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount,
that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with
		him.

You see it don't you? God said I will write and then Moses wrote.
The originals were destroyed and a copy was made. The finger of God
wrote the first and Moses wrote the second even though God said He would
do the writing. God spoke and Moses wrote and God considered it as if
He was doing the writing. The original was destroyed but the copy
was equal to the original that God wrote even though a man wrote the
		second.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words
		shall not pass away.

Poetry

I Will Walk With My Lord
Words of truth and love shall forever be
My soul's unmerited treasure.
God's commands are gems
Etched across my heart…
Not ever to depart.
Everlasting gifts
Offered by One
Who willingly
Paid my price.
With a smile
I will walk
With my
Lord in
Paradise.
