Proofs for Existence of God

by Artur Wielgus

The terms "a priori" and "a posteriori" refer primarily to how or on what basis a proposition might be known. A proposition is knowable a priori if it is knowable independently of experience. A proposition is knowable a posteriori if it is knowable on the basis of experience.

We can prove existence of God a priori by learning about the planet Earth and its beauty and comparing it to other planets: Mars, Venus, Moon etc. Our Earth is a unique planet, supporting life. It is a true Paradise as many poets and writers called it. Just by learning how barren and inhabitable other planets are, we sense that earth is not just the product of big bang.

If an animal looks at the beautiful house, an animal may not distinguish it from the nature.

Humans should recognize the hand of the builder of the Earth just by looking at the Earth and pondering its beauty.

A posteriori proof would be the deduction based on the experience that we have of different stages of intelligent life: animals poses some limited intelligence, then there are humans who are more intelligent, but there is plenty of room for more intelligent beings including spiritual intelligent beings.
